Happy Home Improvement Month!
In this month’s newsletter we are excited to share some tips and tricks for free or inexpensive home improvement upgrades that you can do as the weather warms up and the seasons change. You would be amazed at how some of the little things can make the biggest changes!
1. Update Your Photos – As time marches on, it can be important to update the family photos on your wall! This is a quick and easy way to update your home that doesn’t cost much. Take the frames down, replace some of the older photos for newer ones, and give everything a quick wipe down before putting the frames back on the wall. Viola! A whole new look on a budget!
2. Paint Your Front Door – There are some amazing styles and color combinations happening that brighten up our homes and add curb appeal. Whether you opt for a new color, or you simply freshen the color you have on your door, painting it can be a welcoming sight each time someone pulls into your driveway that is a great way to invite people in.
3. Rearrange Furniture – Make your space functional again! You would be surprised at how well a piece functions when it is in a different room. Instead of placing furniture against walls, try separating a large room by a large piece of furniture to make two rooms in one, like placing a couch in the middle of the room, with a desk behind it to make a dedicated office space in your living room.
